Luke,

Welcome to the forum.

To be as straight forward with you as possible, you do understand that you've chosen a name that's very close to that of a well established shaving company called The Grooming Dept? It's close enough that one might thing that you are looking to profit off of people that are looking for his products and stumble to your website on accident. Probably close enough that you may be violating some trademark type of thing as well, though I don't know the legalities of this. At the very least Ethically I'd think it would be wrong.

I do make my own soap, that I don't sell, but if I did I wouldn't dream of naming it The Grooming Store, The Grooming Place, or anything where it would be considered infringing on someone else's product.

Not sure if it's intentional or not but it's a bit shady and it would keep me from buying your products on principal alone.

If you disagree then so be it, I'm just sharing my thoughts with you is all. You can do what you want with them.,

Hello, Thank you for letting me know. I have had TGN since 2013 or 2014... Before that my holding company was called The Shave Network... But then I purchased Beard.com and started investing in beard care plus skin care companies. We re-branded to The Grooming Network Inc. The good news is that TGN is not a front facing company. We sell no products on that site. It is just a holding company. We manufacture for lots of shave/grooming companies from L'Oreal to local brick and mortar shops.

I hope that helps to explain. Thank you for letting me know.

I look forward to being an honest and direct source of information for this forum. I am not here to sell my products or take abuse. I am here as a direct line to TGN and any of our companies or brands. I look forward to sending out prototypes and working with the forum to help change the way the world shaves and bringing wet shaving to the masses.

I hope that makes sense. Happy shaving. We can accomplish a lot more together spreading the craft than fighting each other.

Regards,
Luke

Welcome to the forum Mr. Webster. Good to have you onboard. Looking forward to what your knowledge and expertise in wet shaving via whatever topic you may bring to the table from shaving to potential products.

Don't mind the curmudgeons that pop in from time to time. In general there are real good gents here. Some just forget to leave their axes in the shed and bring them in for no rhyme or reason......

Think nothing of it.
Happy shaves, sir.
