I heard some good things on some other forums about this place so I thought I'd check it out.

I've been wet shaving for more than a year now. In that time I have developed what many of us refer to as an "acquisition disorder". Lately, I've been eyeing some Fougeres and am always hunting for vintage hardware.

Welcome, fellow San Diegan! Which fougeres are you looking at? If you haven't tried them yet, Wholly Kaw makes a great fougere. And do you hunt for vintage hardware locally?

I just picked up Ginger's Garden and will probably grab some PAA Deja Fougere. Ultimately, I want some MdC. I won an MdC bath bar in the raffle at the Big Shave West and feel in love with the scent. It's what got me interested in Fougere. I'll have to look into Wholly Kaw.

As for the vintage hunting, yes. All local. I've been pretty successful in East County depending on where I'm looking.

Also, Will (Barrister & Mann) is discontinuing his fougeres.  It looks like he still has some in the vegan formula on sale.  Imperiale is an nice earthy, woody fougere.  I haven't tried Aromatique, but I read it has some citrus and spice. I can't speak to his vegan formula as I've only used his tallow soaps.  And his Fougere Classique is crazy good.
