The Mentholated Junkie
Star Wahl Clipper Nebula
Hello everyone, while I am new to DFS, I am however, not new to traditional wet shaving. I first began my journey looking for better hair managing equipment. I ended up getting the Wahl Magic Clips & the Wahl Burgundy Detailer!

These are excellent tools, if you need to manage your unruly hair.

But as it is for most of us, we always find a way, ( or excuse ) to fall down the rabbit hole, and thats when I got into traditional wet shaving. I've been traditional wet shaving for about 2-years now, and I have a dozen DE razors.

These are just some of my most favorite razors, among the dozen that I have. Oh yeah, before I forget, I am your resident mentholated junkie, I put the chill, in chill, with my chill mill. If I can mentholate it, I will mentholate it to the max. I basically find out what will kill me, and then I just back it off a little bit.

And if you want to see some of my razors and brushes, on my custom made cherry wood razor and brush stand, made by an artist on Etsy...

And I got lots more gear too, but I think I've shared enough for now.

I suppose if I traveled in a van, camping down by a river, I'd have enough room for all my gear to travel, but a car not so much lol. Actually thinking about it, if I were to travel, or go camping, perhaps a Gillette Heritage kit, would be what I would need.  Big Grin  Thanks for the welcome Dave!

Thank you so much Lbkindy! After my first year in traditional wet shaving, I suddenly discovered I was running out of space fast. So I bought those shelves from the Amazon rainforest, got them installed, then filled them up in short order lol. I really love my razor and brush stand, one of my finest purchases I do believe! And now I have my own electric kettle in my shave den, to provide me hot water for an luxurious shave, CC SN skuttle and all. Glad you like my den!  Big Grin

Thanks for the welcome, I couldn't agree more with what you said. Funny enough, I feel like I need to add a couple more shelves in there. Once the RAD & SAD kick in, its amazing how quickly one runs out of space. I still got 250 more Wizamet blades under my sink! LOL  Tongue

When it comes to introductions, my MOTTO is, I deliver!  Big Grin Thanks for the welcome! I've heard is pretty chill over here, hopefully you fine folks don't mind me kicking back in a chair and putting my feet up. This Christmas season coming up in December, I plan to drink hot coco with peppermint in one hand, while shaving with Stirling Candy Cane in the other. Sometimes you just gotta multi-task for the challenge. HEHE  Cool

Yeah, I got on a bullet train, only to discover it was owned by Willy Wanka. The train left the track, and I entered into a wormhole of sorts, when I came out, I was in the future, and nearly slammed into Santa clause and his sleigh pulled by rainddeer. I gave Rudeoff such a fright, that his nose blinked! Then I suddenly entered another worm hole, and came out here, during the present. I am not so sure that train was OSHA certified, but hey, I found my way here in the end. And as many woman would say to a man, better late then never, so I appreciate you stopping on by to greet me.  Big Grin

Hello there CaptainJonny! Thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind comments! One thing you will learn about me, I love to share, I take tons of pictures, and before I know it, I have a digital scrapbook portfolio of shaving gear and the like. Sometimes I question my sanity, spending so much money in shaving gear. But at the end of the day, traditional wet shaving makes me happy, and I think my happiness is worth the empty burned up wallet, or the inflated credit.  Winking

Because you all have been wonderful, I decided to share some eye candy with you.

Technically, I am made up of the stuff that makes up stars, that are born in stellar nursery's, known as Nebula's. I love everything that has to do with outerspace, I am an astro nerd, and I especially love Nebula's. If I ever had the choice in life to be reincarnated, I rather come back as a bright star, so I could light the way, to help people find their way, through the darkness. And with that, I present to you, my most favorite lather bowl that I own.
