Hello!
My name is Jonathan. Dragonsbeard introduced me to this great forum which I am grateful for. Thank you, Frank! I’m a relatively new wet shaver. I’m enjoying the journey to learn the art and craft of DE and straight razor shaving. I always had a bad experience with multi-cartridge razors. When the Covid 19 pandemic hit the world hard, and all barbershops were closed for months, I became interested in wet shaving. To name a few, I’ve watched GeoFatBay, Razor Emporium, IAMCDB, theMediaMart, Kensurfs, Friendship Shaving, Mark Szorady, and PaulHFilms on YouTube religiously. I learned so much from everyone. My first razor was the Parker 91R. I had lots of bad experiences with wet shaving initially, but that’s because my technique was terrible, and I didn’t know how to properly prep my face for the shave to come. Now I can’t wait for the next enjoyable, relaxing shave. I’m always open to learning new things about this wonderful interest/ obsession. As all of you know, this hobby is addictive. In less than one year, I have over 30 razors, the majority of them being Adjustables.
I look forward to being part of this community and learning from everyone.
