I find some weight is helpful. If the razor is too light, I tend to press a bit. This usually doesn't end well.

This might seem a bit odd, but to me it's actually just the opposite. I find that very light razors are easier to control the amount of pressure that I add. It's the heavier razor that makes it more difficult for me to determine how much pressure I'm using. I think I generally get better results with lighter razors.

If you like Ti, I wouldn’t change from Ti.

Weight does matter in pressure on the skin.  Too light (like Al) and the razor could skip on a coarse and heavier beard.

Too heavy and you get extra pressure.

If it was a WR1 head I would say it’s minimal.   On a WR2 I would say it’s substantial.

The best comparison I have (besides the BB) is Paradigm.  The 17-4 was a bit more blade feel and aggressive feeling than the Ti2.  Same exact geometry, just a much different weight.

I also like the fact that a Ti head will feel more comfortable for me with a longer handle due to it creating less of a moment arm.

In the end, I could shave with either in a 1.05 which is a mild but efficient design…
