Very nice!!
It looks like Aji has 2 titaniums coming out. There's one on his IG that resembles a wr2. I though this one was it, but I guess not.

Tough choice George! 17-4 Vs Titanium

Dan, is the final version going to have a brushed finish?

I talk to Aji quite a bit on IG and asked if I can share some new info he just shared with me. Stay tuned.

Here is the info that I have permission to share straight from Aji. I know several that don’t like DC plates but I actually love them! Best of both worlds for me. I asked about availability and the possibility of a DC plate in the future and this was part of Aji’s response.

The OC will be offered as a complete razor and hopefully the head only will be offered soon. The complete OC 17-4 will be available in 5-6 weeks and I will keep you posted on the release.

I'll be working on both DC 17-4 and Ti material as well in the near future, hopefully sooner than later. I've been wanting to work on a DC plate for awhile now and thank you for your reminder and suggestion.

Based on experience with different metals, face feel should change drastically. Which one prefers is dictated by personal leanings.

I'm digging it. Looks a lot like a WR1 head section. Handle has that Tradere bell. Looks like the top cap is slightly longer than the baseplate.

I think it’s the same design as the 17-4 that you are about to have. I can’t decide if I like the titanium more than the 17-4 though.

Hmm. Thanks for the clarification. I really should try and pay more attention. Trying the 17-4 will allow us to make a decision on materials for sure. I'm familiar with Ti.

I think I read where DanLaw Dan swears he can feel a difference between 17-4 an polished SS. I had the Paradigm 17-4 and didnt note a difference...I wasnt attuned enough to go looking either.

Exciting times.

*duh...post above.* eye roll

The geometry of 17-4 and Ti are identical per Aji with the updated rounded combs for comfort. Metals though, make drastic differences to feel. The 17-4 besides being heavier has a clinical feel - think formula car, kart, tuned sports bike in wheeled vehicles vs Porsche water cooled cars and sports touring bikes feel typical of Ti. A weapons analogy would be old school Colt 1911 or M14 vs Glock or AR. Even within SS, there is a huge delta between 316 and 17-4 in the feel of the metal against skin with 17-4 being decidedly more clinical and present without regard to any elements of blade exposure.
