Very happy to hear the news about hemp and the farming bill.

As I have mentioned before the Nirvana base contains hemp oil and I have anti-aging serum in the works which contains CBD.

Pssst....make a Kölnisch aftershave, please!

Same here, I'm very excited for Dec. 14 Release, specially for the pre-shave! The release after that will feature Asinus (donkey milk vegan) which I am very eager to try, and let's not forget about the next Lusso, I hope that one will become available sooner than later Wink)

Hello. I'm trying to find the right balance between soap and water to get slicker lather. I feel that I've added a lot of water, should I add more water or use less? I am using the regular beef tallow soap. Thanks in advance.

Hi gregcss

Throughout 3 years shaving using only straight razors, I developed a taste for thin ultra slick lather. More water makes lather slicker. But that's not what works for everyone. Grooming Dept soaps handle enormous amounts of water. I suggest that you experiment to find a ratio of soap/water that you might find pleasing and protective. Water hardness plays a big role in how lather is formed.

Mo is your ideal lather able to run off your face with just gravity if you were not able to touch your face after lathering up? ...or would it stay put ? Just trying to get a sense of of the conditions that you personally feel show off your product to the fullest as you’d want us to see.

I personally like lather as thin as possible, film like coating, it's wet but stays in place. Many people like denser creamier lather. I believe the all formulae produce lather that's extremely slick with varying degrees of density. Lots of water is the key to produce lather with Grooming Dept's soaps, regardless of lather density.

The soaps like a great deal of water. Going back to what gregcss was asking: I probably use less soap more water, but I'm certain that's not the case for most people Smile
