Super fast shipping!  I ordered mid week (Weds) and received the product Friday!  First shave this morning, with Clarus (unscented), and as others have described, it lathered easily and was very slick.  I recently started to face lather instead of bowl, so I want to do more "tests" this weekend with bowl lathering so I can compare apples to apples, as they say.  But I am very pleased so far.  Thanks to Mohammad for making a his soap available in an unscented version for us "scentless" shavers!

I just tried a sample of the new vegan soap base, and I’m very impressed. The consistency is soft and tacky, and the resulting lather is dense and slick. It takes on water very well. I’m surprised to say this, but I think it’s an improvement. I’ve only used it once, so these are just my initial impressions.

I’m not sure what the scent was. I’m not sure if it was the Creed Millesime Imperial inspired one. I’ve never smelled that before, but this had a bit of a camphorous quality that I didn’t see in the Creed scent notes. Either way, it is an excellent scent at a good scent strength.

I sent you a PM The Creed samples will be out after a launch of the new vegan and tallow+duck formulas. I made the scent for the sample you got as a trial. I'm working on a scent built around Tea Tree oil that's not medicinal.

Are we still looking at 2-4 weeks for the tallow based version? Version pleased with the 4 soaps that I have now and looking forward to tallow which is my preferred shave soap base.

Unfortunately, I think it'll be 4 weeks from today! The damaged shipment of ingredients took an eternity to get to me, but it's all good now. I don't think you'll be disappointed, tallow fans are going to love this base

My preferred base includes tallow but Mohammad's samples really proves soaps don't necessarily need it.

A couple of other vegan soaps that really shine are Sudsy Soapery & Wickham 1912.

Awesome. Thank you, I will have the soap on Wednesday and will use it immediately. Especially for Texas heat it sounds very refreshing!!
