I apologize if this has been covered somewhere else in the thread -- I've tried to keep up but I'm sure I've missed some posts along the way.

Hi UngerWoo.

I first launched on May 15 with a soy wax base. But the base didn't hold the scents well enough. I stopped selling soaps for two months and revised the formula. The current formula has not changed since I released it. I hope this answers your question.

EDIT: This batch has two new ingredients in it: Sacha Inchi extract and Flaxseed oil.

Thank you so much for your business. you've been supportive here and elsewhere, I really appreciate it. Best day in Grooming Dept short history! I'm so grateful for the amazing support.

One problem, I'm overwhelmed, I'll start generating shipping labels tomorrow, all orders will ship on Friday.

I would like to see the donkey milk in the vegan formula which will still make it vegetarian just not vegan. Thanks Mohammad

Pace yourself on the labels, packing. A busy few days coming up on the administrative side of the business. Wink

Grooming Dept is becoming less primitive Smile I bought a snazzy label printer and now I'll be including packing lists with every order!

Just ordered Voyage for my first Grooming Dept Vegan Base Soap. I wanted to try Magnolia and Conca d’Oro, but was too slow, so it was between Voyage and Dia. I’m thinking I really couldn’t go wrong no matter which one I decided on. I’m really looking forward to Incense and Rose as well as Amber & Oud, Wonderland, Magnolia & Oud, and Angel. I’ll be sure to be ready next time so I don’t miss out!

Thank you for your order, I appreciate it. Voyage has a nice lemony incense note and a hint of rose.

Ordered the Mallard and soon as it was released on the 14th. It was really the only intriguing scent to me and it had Tallow which I’m thinking will be in every soap I order form now on. Can’t wait to try it, but also can’t wait to get some more scents with the upcoming releases.

Previously felt same but grooming dept converted me. Their veg is actually quite hydrating. Impressive given how terribly sensative my skin reacts. For example doing the hannah soap project now; on #2 now and face a flaming wreck.

What you can expect from the tallow base.

I know this is from another forum Wink but I'm grateful to dfoulk for his insights, support, and his help in spreading the word about Grooming Dept.
