“This is my simplest, least ingredients scent ever” - Mohammad Abed

Beautiful scent executed perfectly in the best bases in shaving. Kairos, Mallard, Nai. My mileage may vary...but it always comes back to May 15, 2017.

To me Amare, Otium, and Aion are all exquisite scents and now it looks like I need this Lavender. Your putting me in the poor house Mohammad!

Oh and the upcoming Mallard label is very nicely done!

The Grooming Dept Conditioning Shave Oil is very different from the "Shave Oil" out there! I plan on releasing it in multiple scents. I'm still debating if I should use plastic bottles Smile

I exclusively used and tested the shave oil for a few months using a Feather DX for daily shaves. Combine it with the preshave and in the future with the GD face wash for a formidable competitor to soaps Smile

So, I used the new Lavender Kairos base soap today. Just to be completely transparent, I have tested every single iteration of Kairos since it’s inception as I am a frequent tester for Mohammad’s soaps and I have a huge collection of his soaps in every base he has ever made. My top bases are Nai, Donkey Milk Combo, Kairos and Mallard in that order with Kairos and Mallard being neck in neck. Because I have so many, I always reach out to Mo to see if I really need to purchase every soap that he has coming out these days. At first, I was only going to get the L’Avventura but Mo said I will really want the Lavender as well so I got both along with several new Post Shave Serums and a bottle of the Hydrating Gel. The Lavender is absolutely amazing and I loved it this morning. The thing that I absolutely love about GD soaps is how quickly I can build a super lush lather, the cushioning during a shave and the post shave feel many many hours after. Any time I use any other brand soap, I still use the GD PreShave and Post Shave Serum. This time I added the hydrating gel, which added to the wonderment of the Grooming Dept line of products and my shave was just outstanding in every way. Many people will call me a GD Fanboy(Man) and I could care less. I call Mohammad the Mad Genius and that is exactly what he is when he is in his “lab” concocting the next new “thing”! I CAN NOT WAIT for the new Mallard release as I have been testing the upgrades he has done to that base and folks will love those as well. Keep it up Mo! As always, you KILLED it!!

Thank you vtmax george1906 for the kind words.

I'm grateful for all the positive comments Kairos is getting, especially for the slickness it affords. Expect hella more slickness as time goes by Smile

I'm also taken aback by how well the Lavender is received. I used some of the most exquisite French Lavender varieties I could find. It truly is one of my simplest scents ever!

I love my scented oils.
I find them the best part of wetshaving.
The fragrance continuity from pre- to after-shave.
Even better if there's a perfect match with perfume.

I had an amazing shave with Chypre Peach with an excellent cushion and post shave as said by others.

The new Rejuvenating serum is amazing! It is lightweight, absorbs quickly and make skin feel super smooth. I used both hydrating gel and serum together and my face felt smooth all day yesterday. Great job, Mohammad! I will be submitting order for more serum now!

Regards,
San

I've used most of the things I got in the mail - the Chypre Peach is beautiful and so is that Lavender - that's as beautiful a straight up lavender soap as I've ever had and the Kairos base is excellent.  The Rejuvenating Serum is as good as always but I'm going to have got get used to pumping it out instead of waiting for the 4 drops I like to use  Big Grin

I've read some comments about the Moisturizing Pre-Shave being different and it is different but I think its even slicker than it was and it was pretty darn slick.  You do have to be aware that it takes a bit longer to fully spread out so you have to be careful not to drop it into the sink but once you have it smeared out it goes on just like the previous formula.

Thank you Mo for your dedication and hard work!   Happy2  Its always worth the wait
