Ack! I am going to be in the recording studio all day 12/14. I might have to plan takes around this release.

Yah, I hear you. I'm either going to be at the gym or the gun club.

I have added a drop-down to filter soaps by the same groupings on the Formulae Page

The filter is available on the Shaving Soap page

So what’s everyone’s favorite base?

I think the Mallard is my favorite in regards to lather and shave

Donkey doesn’t do the glossy/gooey lather as well but the post shave is really exceptional

Thank you Mohammad.  I really like that feature.

Now There is a link to the formulae page in the About Page

Newer side labels will also state which formula a soap belongs to.

I got 2 new back up tubs this week. One for Mallard Chai and one for Mallard Earl Grey. I still feel that Mo’s best base for me is the Mallard base and I decided to use one of the backup tubs I got to compare it to the original since he said that he improved on these soaps recently. I didn’t think these needed any improvement but leave it to Mo to continually strive for better! I can honestly say that it is an improvement and with all the new soaps I have, the Mallard base is still number one for me. I love all of the new soaps but those made with duck fat are just superior. Even over the 2 Lusso base soaps. I know you guys are getting sick of seeing my lather photos but this one just can’t be beat. This picture [Image: 091ceb265882a2eb70c9040a2cab7b39.jpg]was taken after I finished and this is the left over.

I just shaved with the Chypre Vert - DFS 2018 Tallow + Jersey Cow Milk Shaving Soap and all I can say is WOW!!! A little bit goes a long way. You can add a ton of water, Slickness and post are wonderful. I have tried a number of his formulations and I love them all but this one was really even more impressive for me
