So, my second shave using the pre-shave V32 was yesterday and I dialed it up a bit by using a hard soap by Saponificio Varesino with a fresh Voskhod blade in my Blackbird OC. Once again, I had a stellar extremely smooth shave and I consider the Blackbird to have a lot of blade feel. I have to be careful with it or it will definitely bite. This combination made me feel like I was using a less aggressive razor and I owe it all to the preshave from all I can tell. Again, all I can say is WOW and I cannot wait to get the final version because I just don’t know how it can continually get any better than this. But, I have learned to never doubt the genius mind and sheer concocting skill of Mohammad!

This morning I used V35 for the third time but this time I changed the process with applying the pre-shave and a noticeable difference this morning this difference in quality of shave. Today I used Penhaligon`s English Fern (tallow) which has been sitting idle for at least six months and Gillette Toggle with setting of five my usual starting point in blade gap. Normally I shower, while my brush soaks in warm water, and pre-heat my shave bowl with warm water as well. When ready to shave I lather up in shave bowl, then apply pre-shave and while still lightly damp I then apply the pre-shave. Today I wet my face, applied the pre-shave but let it dry down as I whipped up the lather in the warm bowl. Then applied first lather for first pass with the grain and wow, felt like Teflon coating had been applied. Didn't feel the blade at all. Forgot to mention I used a fresh UK Wilkinson Sword blade. Talk about smooth. After the WTG pass and without a rinse-off I then applied 2nd lather of Penhaligon`s English Fern for the ATG pass and again Teflon smooth. Final rinse off resulted in a wonderful 2 pass shave. This pre-shave really shines and from now on, I will apply the pre-shave before I lather in bowl to allow it dry down as it was that noticeable for me.

V35 preshave - second day followup ...

I had another superb, simple shave last night - a BBS shave with no blood and no irritation!  That would be outstanding in its own right, for me at least, but that was the second shave in not much over 24 hours.  It's quite unusual for me to get a shave that close and smooth so soon after a previous close shave.  And sitting here the morning after, my skin feels great!

When will MO be able to stabilize production both on soaps, Preshave so that there is ample quantity for everyone to buy?

Also, a mechanism be developed to shipstuff internationally too. With Change in shipping partner at ToTC and parcels not reaching folks I do understand the dilemma but we need to try this stuff too...

Hi jags009 I can answer this question Smile

I'll resume international shipping when the soaps become available. I hope to one day make my products available in Europe. The preshave and it companion gel are my first products which I intend to market and sell to mainstream shaving customers.

That's good news but I am in Asia (India).Any possibility of finding a shipping partner for this patch too.

I'm sorry, international shipping via USPS is the only option I have right now.

That's good enough and mostly reliable. First step is the stuff to be available for me to pull the trigger...hopefully soon enough.
