That's just it though; I don't think anyone's ever criticized the soap itself. I think it goes without saying that the bases produce a very unique and high-performing lather. The scents started off fairly simple early on but are getting progressively more complex (but all are quite nice). I know I appreciate the fact that the scents are fairly strong generally.

As to the other issues, some are related to growing pains. As paying customers, they're legitimate - and if I were an artisan or vendor, I know I'd want to hear about it. One unhappy customer is unfortunate; several indicate a serious problem. Either way, it'd be in my best interest to address the issue(s) ASAP. Especially since shaving is a very word of mouth industry.

Other things are suggestions. More than a few of us have been doing this for a year, if not several. We know what works. It's not criticizing so much as it is trying to offer advice. While Mo has taken some to heart, on others he seems rather obdurate. Hey, it's his call. You rolls the dice, you takes your chances.

In the end, I think it's fair to say that most of us certainly want Mo to succeed.

Once again, I'm sorry for the shipping delay. This only happens on launches. It's has something to do with a personal issue, which I'm not going to get into. I thought I could overcome the obstacles, but obviously I can't. I'm not going to release any more soaps in that fashion anymore.

I'm still dropping packages at the post office, there are still packages that have not made yet, I thought I'd be done today. I'm trying as hard I can. If you would like a refund please get in touch.

Shipping can be a hassle. :/

I dropped two packages in USPS collection box on 15th. I usually drop it at the PO, but I was sick and I took a shortcut. Today, one of them is showing to be 'out for delivery' while another is showing 'Pre-Shipment Label ...'.

This is truly embarrassing for me, as the one showing Pre-Shipment is part of a trade, so I can't go to PayPal and refund the money. I went to the PO this morning, and they are saying sometimes, they don't scan the packages dropped in Blue Boxes.

I hope things get better for GroomingDept .

I really appreciate the support @iamsms + others.

I'm grateful for the demand for my soaps. For the foreseeable future, throttling the release batch size is the only way I'll be able cope. I'll release some, ship some, and repeat cycle. I had a phone conversation with siriannic (Carmine - Top Of The Chain) this morning, I'll be sending him soaps more frequently. He offers free US shipping at $60. I hope this helps.

Posting Freak
I'm prepared to cut artisans a fair amount of slack, actually an unlimited amount of slack because I believe that the wet shaving world is better off with them than without them. Most of us understand that many artisans are running shoestring operations with little to no help beyond themselves trying to meet customer's orders and respond to comments and complaints while making the product, packaging the product, driving it to the post office and shipping the product, innovating and developing the next big release, having a day job and maybe a family to spend some time with and all of this in the same 24 hour days that we have. Most of them have had no prior experience in the logistics of running a business like this and definitely not one that is an overnight sensation with demand for product coming from all over the world. Its exhausting just thinking about it. They do it because they love it and I'd hate to be the guy that pushed them over the edge to not loving it so they decide to pack it in. We'd all be losers if that were to happen. Everybody should just relax. Just my opinion.

I’ll be interested to hear impressions of the chai and earl grey gelato scents when those arrive.

Same here. Not usually one for gourmand type scents, but the Earl Grey one is intriguing. I love Earl Grey tea.
