If you have tried this, please let me know what you think about the scent.. Although there are several types of lavender EO’s in the mix, there are also a number of scents other than lavender. In my experience, GD’s scents are sometimes to complex and strong for me. Thanks

I think you should definitely buy one if you like lavender. It’s the best lavender scent I’ve experienced - to my taste at least. I’d say it is lavender with a sharp lime overtone and a background of other florals that soften it out a bit. Something like that. I think it stands out from the crowd because of the sharpness of the lime, and it’s a pretty distinctive and sophisticated blend.

Spot on description of the lime effect & the florals. The mandarin oil + oakmoss intensify the lime.

Thanks to both of you. Would you describe it a a sweet, spicy lavender or more on the herbaceous side?

The lavender varieties are on the floral side. The scent is a spicy floral Fougère with an upfront lavender and lime notes.

I used mine again today. I would describe it as lavender lemonade/limeade. Very pleasant.

Generally, I shy away from soaps that have a lime scent note as lime is a sensitivity trigger for my skin. Although the lime note is present, it complements rather than overpowers the lavender. Thus, I am able to use English Lavender without issue. It is a beautiful scent. Some lavenders tend to be overly camphorous, but the ones from Grooming Dept are not.

I definitely get a citrus-y lavender scent. The lavender reminds me of a woody type you'll find in semi-arid climates and not the strong smelling herbaceous stuff. It's a great scent and not strong at all. I enjoy it in the evening.
