Gillette Slim or Fatboy Adjustable Clones

Hi all,

Are there any Gillette Slim or Fatboy clones being manufactured out there?

I know people buy the vintage Gillette’s at pawn shops or eBay which I don’t have interest in.

I have the Merkur Progress and it’s great but I am looking if a clone has ever been made? I think the Russian ones are discontinued.

Basically any butterfly adjustable out there excluding the Merkur Vision?

If you can get past the butterfly thing Razor Emporium markets a very nice update of the Gibbs adjustable.

Yes the Parker variant adjustable. I was looking for a butterfly adjustable in the style of Gillette’s fatboy and slim.

The link above has Rockwell making a modern version.

I know Razor Emporium sells the revamped Gillette’s as well.

Rockwell has a well-deserved reputation established with their 6S, 6C & 2C. They are soon going to be releasing their model T which I have jumped on, the first time it was announced on the IndieGoGo.
There have been a lot of delays, no doubt due to their commitment to excellence, but they finally made it and are beginning to ship at the end of this month.
This is the modern TTO to have and I believe there is no other modern TTO currently on offer.

I remember reading a review of the Razor Emporium sometime ago and basically the reviewer said that it was a copy of the Gibbs razor but not as good. Only one way to find out, I guess.

Very cool. Can't wait to hear other user reviews once they release them. Man, I wish I could shave that easy ATG on my chin.

The REX adjustable (Razor Emporium stainless) is an excellent shaver. There is an extensive thread somewhere here on DFS. It's a new razor and some have found scattered quality issues, but the company has excellent customer service and has been taking care of everything AFAIK. I have one and it is fabulous.
