I'm hoping someone can help me, I received a Rocket as a gift. I can't find any indication of what the serial number on the bottom means/correlates with.  It is a "Canadian" rocket, the case says razor made in England and blades made in Canada. It's NO430030

it looks like they may of first been produced in 1947, per this chart here: http://www.razoremporium.com/gillette-date-codes/

the next N date code I see if from 1968 though....hmn.

I have one too. If the case says Rocket on it it may be a 49. That's when the plastic cases first came out.

Not sure, but believe that's the British patent number. If so, it could be any year they were in production.
