I hope the blades work well at that price.

That was my first thought.  What a random number!

Wow, interesting.

Those blades are very nice. They appear frequently on the Portuguese forum, mostly from Brazilian members. I still have a small packet of them somewhere, a kind offer from a Brazilian friend.

They are made in the Manaus factory in Brazil. In Brazil they are sold in packets of 3 blades:

There are also packets of 10x3 blades:

There were another Gillette blade in the Brazilian market (the "Gillette Azul Aço Inox", that's portuguese for "Gillette Blue Stainless Steel") in blue packets similar to those ones. These blue ones were even better, but are now hard to find.

Those were for all intents & purposes a Gillette Brazilian version of the Super Stainless (the 'Spoiler') and the Super Silver most likely. That would have been a rung below the Platinum Plus. Of course, that's not to say that some didn't enjoy the former more than the latter.

It's just a very nice blade for me. Particularly effective in today's Feather ASD2 shave, a razor that really benefits from a blade with this level of sharpness.

EDIT - 5 shaves in with the same blade in the ASD2. No signs of letting up, either. And it really helps make the ASD2 an efficient shaver, which is a bonus given how comfortable it is.
