If so, what are your thoughts? Im looking for something for those extra early mornings.

You can use it for face shaving for sure but it is what I use for head shaving. They work really well!

I have one.

It's excellent. It's very light though. The pivot head is familiar.

I would love to have a heavier handle. I'd use it more often.

I use mine almost exclusively to shave my head..works great for that task as it has the pivoting head, it's open comb so it doesn't clog all that often, and it's only a single blade that doesn't cut me too close.

the leaf might be the 'closest' thing to the guard in terms of something with a pivoting head that can use DE blades, in either a 1, 2 or 3 blade configuration. I should be getting one here in the next few weeks to try out and pass around the forum.

I use it for travel. It is very light (all plastic except for the blade of course), doesn't tend to get clogged. It's fine for that. I don't use it at home.

More and more lately I'm using it for head shaving. Great little razor! Highly recommend. As andrewjs18 stated, I hope it's similar to the Leaf razor so I can use my own blades.

I hope the leaf turns out to be nice as well. I think head shavers will really like it and I think my wife might enjoy it too.

My girlfriend loves the Gillette Guard. She told me it’s her favorite razor for shaving her legs. I used it and it’s a really good razor. Mild and forgiving.

Imo the design is good, the plastic feel is not songood and the blade performance ... ehh.

I almost posted asking where to get these in regards to a vendor in the USA. There was a time where I didn’t know of anyone who was carrying them but last week I checked Maggards again and they sell them. I picked some up after not using them in years. I’m on a trip so I decided to forget about taking a DE razor and will be using this for my travel shaver. Will report back to share how it goes using it in some face shaves.
