has anybody else noticed that gel tips (hooked?) are a pain to 'towel strop' dry? It's like trying to dry a wet flannel, rather than a brush...I have to dab, and squeeze the bristles, as a stropping action just feels like the tips are gripping onto the towel..a sort of velcro feeling between tips and towel....what are your thoughts..

Not really. Sometimes the knot dries in clumps that are easy to disperse by fanning the knot with the palm of your hand.

I towel strop as well and haven't had issues with gel tips but, like Teddyboy , I often spread the knot with my palm after.

My gel tips [the clumping hairs] are all two-band.
