GAME CHANGER a more aggressive approach

 @molon_labe your razor blade suggestion was spot on for me. I was able to get a smooth efficient shave today wtih seven days of growth and utilizing the game changer jaws and vokshod razor blade combo. I had tried vokshod razor blade with merkur futur which did not work for me and just put the box of 100 vokshod razor blades collecting dust. Thank you for sharing your experience. Btw I have tried the jaws with a more aggressive razor blade combo and that did not work for me.  I got a bbs shave today

I’ve been enjoying the shaves from my .68 and .84 Gamechanger since launch. Finally decided to get the OC! Wow, it actually feels smoother than the SB.84 while delivering equally good results. I think the JAWS would be a bit too much for me. This is near perfect shaving nirvana, only rivaled by my 6s plate 5 and Rex. I also like how it kind of looks like a Wolfman with the superknurl handle.

I really think the OC Gamechanger packs a punch. What a great razor, one of the best. Heard a .68 OC is in the works, I think it would too mild for me. SOTD with my .84 OC.

Yep. They are both available in .68 versions....

Ordered one of each to try out. I’ve liked all the other GCs so don’t intend on these being any different.

Just to bump the thread a bit. Used the GC .84 OC for this mornings shave. Simply a pleasure to use this razor. Married it up with the King C. Gillette Platinum blade and smooth sailing. Heck of a razor and for the money, can’t complain one bit. It’s not a Wolfman, BBS-1 or any of the other great artisan producers with quality made upscale razors like Timeless, Blackland, Tatara, Paradigm and a slew of others. Yet, it’s still made of 316/316L Stainless cut to precision tolerances that are practically equal to those mentioned. They GC series sports a high quality tumbled semi-polished look that won’t reflect your pearly whites in the morning but, it’ll leave you with a shit eating grin on the quality of shave it will give you for a fraction of the costs the high end tools deliver. I have a few high priced shavers in my den, well north of the $200+ price point and they deliver the looks and the performance. The Gamechanger though truly gives them a run for the money in shave performance and make up. 

Affordable and well made tools that any man would have no qualms in owning. I know I don’t.....

I received my Game Changer .84 Open Comb razor yesterday, and used it this morning with a vintage Wilkinson “New” blade on its 13th go....absolutely stunned!

I will use it for my next few shaves, but my initial impression is that it is the smoothest, most efficient, and effortless DE razor that I have ever used.  It is the perfect blend of all attributes, and sacrifices nothing.
