I had coffee and a croissant this morning with another friend from the forums, whom I hadn't seen for a long time due to the pandemic. It was great to see him again and catch up on our lives and shaving interests. I really appreciate the friendships I have made here.
Yesterday my wife and I had lunch out at a local restaurant, and I commented to her that the coffee was really good. She ordered a cup too, and when she tried it she said, 'How can you say this is good coffee? It's terrible.' At that point the waitress arrived and apologized, saying that someone had accidentally left the tea on the coffee hotplate. She replaced my wife's 'coffee,' and we had to laugh about her inability to differentiate tea from bad coffee. After lunch we went for a walk, and one of the houses had a huge flock of lawn flamingos, as shown below. The pale pink ones in the front are really small flamingos.
