I assume that if I know about this resource, then so does everyone else…But just in case.
Since I’ve been purchasing brand name aftershaves, I use this often.

Our friends at Thirsty Badger Shave Co. have a sortable chart of common fragrance brands and the shaving soap/AS dupe…by artisan.

(I’d suggest that Ethos should get onto this list.)

Thanks. One question, does anyone in wet shaving come up with their own scents??

I know I do with all mine.  It’s one of my favorite parts of making a product.

I’m on the list for Succes. I wasn’t even aware of this list so thank you for sharing it.

Please make a Gray Flannel dupe!

I’ve seen fragrance oils that are Grey Flannel so a custom Shave Soap and Aftershave could be made easily.

I prefer using naturals in my product line so I don’t do much with synthetic designer fragrance oils that are dupes but I will make one for a customer if they want as part of my customs options.  The Succes was one designer inspired scent I built from the ground up and it took over a year to get it were I wanted it to be as I was a big fan an own the very first Creed Aventus batch with the stronger Pineapple note so that’s what I was shooting for.

Everyone of our scents is our own creation. No dupes.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to suggest that all artisans only make dupes, it was rhetorical and a comment on just how many dupes are out there. That’s some list. Thanks

You raise an interesting question though. How many people that get upset over razor clones buy dupes of fragrances?

Absolutely no apologies needed! Learning the art of Blending aromatics takes many years and some class’s here and there which can cost a lot of $$ so I can understand the use of using dupes. They are easy to use and inexpensive.
