Scentsless Shaver

Good to hear from you, Ken! Love the name you gave the young dude, Sparkles! Right there is great co-worker test, can you handle a nickname?! My first work nickname was "Sevs." I was a gas station attendant at a 2 bay Amoco gas station. I was 15 and thought it so cool that I was getting a uniform shirt! It had Sevs as the name. We all had nicknames, I think, except for the owner and the other mechanic. I didn't whine or cry, and thought it kind of cool. The owner was naming me based on a news journalist, Eric Sevareid. Sparkles sounds imaginative, funny, and in line with Fluffy. Hope he gets his poop together, as team work makes dream work, or so I am told!

My nickname was peewee as a reverse application (I'm 6 foot 1 inch and 220 but 200 back then) unless it was for my tequila dance moves.....

PS for Ken - Our German package has made it to Knoxville TN so should have tomorrow!!!

So, how did the LaToja Stick shave go?

Am planning on doing a video about the Latoja. It is a decent soap. Light pleasant smell, lavender I believe. Decent performance. But not as slick as Arko. Unfortunately the other shave stick I ordered is supposed to be here. But I have never laid eyes on it. Have a claim filed with Amazon. Waiting for that to be resolved. Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

Sunday's Shave
[Image: 2XrS0uQ.jpg]

Occam Nano Razor (1st. Shave Feather Pro Super Blade)
Arko Shave Stick
Razorock AP Shave Gealousy Badger Brush
Mysol Agua Balsamica aftershave

Excellent shave this evening with the Nano and Feather Pro Super. The Schick blades I have been using are also good. But they required lots of attention to shave with the Nano's 2 dot plate. And with the 1 dot,  it did not have enough blade exposure to be efficient.  I hypothesized to myself, "Maybe the Feather Pro Super's will be just that much bigger (cutting edge to back) to give me that little bit of extra blade exposure."  And sho' nuf I was right. Nice smooth easy two pass BBS shave with almost no touch up needed (Super Blade with 1 Dot plate). And only the faintest of tingle when rubbing on the aftershave.  So I have found "my" blade for my Nano. Much like my Voskhod's are my go to DE blade in my Fatboy.  While there is in no way the variety of blades for the AC style razors.  There are enough that you still can fine tune the combos and get a great shave.
Hope you are all ready for Monday.

Last couple of shaves. So far 5 shaves on the Feather Pro Super blade. It's still doing a good job. Prolly gonna take a break from the Nano for a few shaves. But I am curious just how many comfortable shaves this new blade is able to provide me.
Been hot as Hades round these parts. Like I'm back in Fort Benning GA.  And back on Tuesday we had storms roll through. Which knocked down a bunch of trees. So me and the boys have been tasked with cutting and grinding up all the mess that old hag Mother Nature made.  Hope you all made it to the weekend in good nick.
