Good shave. Though it may be redundant to keep saying it. The nice thing about being picky with all the items you use for a shave. Means that you always enjoy your shaves.
What was NOT good today. The frigging weather and Mom Nature the nasty wretched witch nemesis. Continued her assault wave of 90+ degree heat.  C'mon fall where the heck are you at?

Looks like some cooling next week here. Hang in there !

Thanks Dave.
I am hanging in there. Doesn't mean I can't whine about it (weather).  Could be much worse. Twenty five years ago when I started driving dump trucks. None. Not a single one in the fleet had A/C. There was a "captains fan" you could turn on to blow the hot air and dust around in the cab. That was when, "men were men and sheep were scared."
Daddy's Girl is much more advanced. A/C, Bluetooth, Satellite Tracking, Road Temp Sensors, Heated Mirrors, Drop Chains, Back Up Camera, Power Windows and Locks, Automatic Transmission and even Cruise Control. My goodness.

I hear you on both counts. My shave notes get quite repetitive, but I try to keep it that way, right?! The alternative is a bad shave. And the heat. As Mainers say, jeezum crow, good thing it is only like this for 2 weeks! Which is untrue, and why we have a/c!

If you are whining, one can only imagine what AST Barbie is spouting. She would appear, to me, to not handle adversity well!

All we can do is survive!

Last two shaves.

Both nice shaves. The two razors couldn’t be any more different. The Leader is a extremely thin, singing piece of German craftsmanship.
The Russian Stiz razor. Is half a hollow plain Jane no frills piece of kit.
On the homefront. Fluffy Industries has up’d production. Three loaves of sourdough are in the fridge. Waiting to get baked tomorrow.
Hope you all are having a good weekend.

Monday’s shave.

Hibbard Spencer and Bartlett “Our Very Best” Razor
DR Harris Arlington Soap
Omega 10098 Boar Brush
Skin Bracer AS.

Nice shave to start the week. Gonna spend the day gearing up for when the remnants of Ida get up to us. Possible 3+ inches of rain. So gotta sharpen up the chainsaws. Fuel and grease the chipper. Put the “claw” on the Gradall. Fuel up the pickups and dumps. Should be fun.

When trees fall across a county road. We are the “only” responder.
Not a hero or anything. Just a dummy with a dump truck and a chainsaw.
