First try with the straight!

Ok tonight was my first try with the straight! I used my Blue Streak (a great hone by Howard at the Perfect Edge) and then finished with my Gillette with an Astra blade. Used the Sapone Di Paolo Creamiso. A wonderful soap that provides wonderful lather andb face feel! The photo below was after 3 passes still plenty left.

First time with the straight went well. I am following the tips from Jon Romanov and his videos. Just started with the cheeks this evening! Good shave and very satisfied with the start!

Congratulations. I have yet to get the nerve up to make a move to a straight.

The only name on it is the blue streak! It is one I picked up When I purchased a small collection... I really like the way it looked and felt.... Don't know much about it other that that.... T

Well done! I am with Primo- I don't have the stones to tackle the straight quite yet.
