I find Tabac to be superior In all aspects save scent. Tabac is one amazing, near perfect soap base in my opinion.

The only soap I would compare Tabac to is Sir Irisch Moos..

I find they are almost identical to the point its hard to really tell a difference.
I've had the AB for a while now and just got the Green Vetiver and they are a great shaving soap.

It's good, but it's certainly not Tabac good.

Fine is a great soap that stands alone. Not sure why they even mentioned Tabac, by doing this it sets the quality standard pretty high. I happen to like the Fine soap more due to the great scents, but may take a bit more loading than Tabac. If you like the aftershave you should check out the soap as well.

I'm gonna stick with Tabac for now but thank you. Maybe in the winter I will try the sandalwood scent from Fine.

The Fine Santal Absolute smells exactly like the old tallow AOS Sandalwood if you are familiar with that scent.

I'm familiar with AoS current sandalwood scent, but not the tallow formula. I like the current scent very much, so if it's like that I'd enjoy it.

Havent tried the new AOS soap, so not sure if its the same scent. It is a earthy almost clay like sandalwood, very nice scent.
