I know both are based on Terre d'Hermes. Anybody tried both? Thoughts?

Between the 2 mentioned L&L by a mile, but don't overlook Stirlings Arkadia.IMHO Arkadia trumps them both in scent(longevity and true to the Terre d'Hermes scent)followed close would be L&L(Too much has a "tacky" face feel)and then L'Orange Noir.Honestly I would choose Razorocks Son of Zeus over Fine's offering, just my honest opinion though.

I've tried both, only a sample of Fine quite some time ago and the non-alcohol, non-menthol L&L. Fine is just Alcohol, Water, Fragrance, Menthol, while the current L&L is the same plus a few face food ingredients.

Oh I didn't know Stirling had one too. I'm a big Stirling fan except for the fact that some of their AS's have a pretty weak and short lived scent. I think based on your recommendation I'm going to go with L&L unless you think the Arkadia has a stronger scent than most other Stirlings.

L&L Tris is an excellent splash, the scent lingers on me for quite a while and it's one of my favorite soap/splash combos

Love the Fine scent (guilty tacky pleasure) but does not last over 20 minutes
