After six days of no delivery from Fedex via express I have the package on a tracer. Strange arrived at their hub Dec 2 and nothing after that.

Posted before, and sometimes not as funny if you are the deliveree (I owe allegiance to none):

FedEx: "You'll get it when we give it to you."
USPS: "You'll get it next week. Maybe. Or maybe the week after. Maybe."
UPS: "Your package will arrive today at 4:06 pm. Here's a map."
Amazon: "We're in your living room."

Ten days from St Jo, MO to Sacramento (1,800 miles] in 1860.  And it cost a dollar.  That's progress for you....  Big Grin

$1 in 1860 = approx. $33.49 today. Remember as well, the Pony Express freight was priced per OUNCE!! Initially it was $5 then later $1. So, a 1 lb. pckg. then would cost $535.84 today at the $1 per oz. rate adjusted!!

This time of the year I always expect the 2 Day Priority Home Delivery to take 3 business Days.  If I ship today, Saturday, they will have it Wednesday.”  Normally, if I ship today, they will have it Monday, but the volume has to be insane

Furthermore, I don’t trust any other carrier after December 10 but FedEx.  I can’t take the chance.  And, spend the extra 3-5 on the insurance, you won’t be angry should there be a mishap.  I’ve never had a claim, but I’ve always had the peace of mind knowing I paid the extra $5 on a high dollar item

Update: My Wife's Apple watch is still in delay and at the Fedex hup (Memphis). Apple is now involved since they are the shipper. They have told us if the watch is not recevied soon they will ship a new watch to us. This was an express delivery.

But it didn't take a month, across half the continent, and they guaranteed delivery.  If the rider got there alive. Smile Pretty impressive service 160+ years ago.

In the Post Office's defense they handle millions of mail each day and things happen. But now lets beat up on Fedex. Last Tuesday I sent my Wife's Apple watch back to Apple repair center in Ohio. Apple sent us a box with an express Fedex return label. I brought the watch to a Fedex location in my City and they got the watch back the next day. Two days later they shipped the watch back via Fedex express. I should have gotten it last Friday. Tracking says the watch is still at their Memphis hub and in delay( no kidding). So probably and hopefully I will get the watch back soon. Am I mad at Fedex. Absolutely not. Things happend beyond our control. So the next time you want to blast the Post Office read this thread.

bottom line. If it was a razor and this happened I would be livid.  Dodgy
Yup same here with FedEx big delays and even some of my early Xmas gifts were destroyed even tho they been packaged well..very disappointed..
