Very similar. I get awesome shaves with my Feather SS with either the pro or pro-guard blades. While my speed has picked up considerably from when I first started with the Feather, I can't go nearly as quickly as with a DE. The Feather adds a good 10 mins to the routine.
I'm using the Pro Super blades and have just changed from using the AC RG (which has the same head as the DX) to the AC SS which has a different head with skin-stretching "bump" on the jaws.
They are both equally efficient but the SS is a much easier shave - that extra "bump" is a master stroke!

I bought the SS yesterday as a Xmas present to myself.
Tried it the first time today and I loved it.
For the most part the learning curve wasn't that bad. Though I did nick myself under the chin 3 times, but the rest of my face was fine.
Practice should reduce such issues in the future. So far, I love it and it was a great purchase.

Thanks Stroppinglad for your generous offer. And I appreciate the kind gesture.
But the professional blades are sufficient for me at this point of time.
After using the SS for a whole week, I think I'm at the point where I have the muscle memory to at least go through three passes without nicking myself. Or at least they are at a minimum.
