From the wonderful British brands, I'd pick DR Harris Arlington and C&S Oxford & Cambridge.

I am a big fan of Speick. Floïd has a legion of followers over here but the smell just isn't for me. Don't take me wrong. I admit it smells well, but the scent is that "old barber shop" kind that you either like or don't. Speick has a nice citric scent that won't last long and won't interfere with other EdT or EdC you may use. Natural ingredients and good performance rounded with a good price tag. A winner, for me. Welleda lotion has a good reputation, also.

How about the superdrug and boots splashes. Also there are quite a few versions of brut and old spice with more modern scents.

I would have a look at finding Tcheon Fung Sing aftershave splashes if I were in your shoes, I have a couple of their 70th anniversary line splashes and they are very good in my humble opinion.

Luckily you live in Europe so you could also have a go at importing Extro aftershaves. I tried for a very long time to get some of Donato's very limited runs of splashes to no luck.....then my favorite store in Canada managed to talk him into selling them his Bay Rum from 2015 so I got 2 bottles. It is by far the best Bay Rum aftershave I have ever tried.

I have always thought it unfortunate that Castle Forbes doesn't do a splash as their aftershave balm is very good.
