Started using it June 26. It was featured in yesterday's SOTD. I love it. However, I must give Johnny credit. It was his idea, but I believe I am the only one recently to try it.

I never gravitated to Tobacco scented soaps but one I thoroughly enjoy and recommend is:

RR Santa Maria del Fiore

RR Santa Maria del Fiore
RR Zi Peppino
TFS Tobacco Verde
CFG Sherlock
WSP Blackbeard

Have Soap Smooth Bruyere on the way (can't wait). Silk Pajamas sounds great as well.

What are some of your favorites or must tries?

Hi Kevin, I have the TFS Tobacco Verde soap and I like it.  Have you tried the TFS Hercules?  I know its not tobacco but it is really nice.  Its says its liquorice and lilac which sort of put me off (lilac?) but it smells really good. I can make out some liquorice in it but don't get the lilac and its a great performer.

Hey Mark, great tip- I never picked this up as I couldn't get my head around licorice & lilac too but do like the TFS label soaps that I have tried (Tobacco, 70th & Jasmine/Orange Blossom).

Appreciate the heads up and will have to order a tub!

On another note, I saw a post from Joe that there is another IB house soap coming out soon called Amici. Have no other info but a big fan of RazoRock and Italian Barber so will definitely give it a whirl.

Hi Mark, Hercules in the house as of last night based on your recommendation- thanks! Plan on using it later this week and keep you posted.

Scent in the tub is really nice in the meantime and not what I would have expected.

Bumped up Herc in the rotation and used this morning- great performance as expected and the scent, although subtle, was perfect.

Reminds me of canyon that I lived on in SoCal. Filled with wild fennel, this soap very much reminded me of that area on summer afternoons.

Great stuff and thanks again for the recommendation.

Kevin, have you tried TFS Hercules yet?  I just received TFS BFF and it is again a subtle, pleasant scent not at all what I would expect from the description.  Haven't used it yet but will shortly.

Oops, missed that post - glad you liked it.

How would you describe BFF? I am not a huge patchouli fan but have found that in soaps, I normally actually like it. With the lime it seems it may be a good one to grab.

It's been a while since the last post, but I'm curious if anyone knows of shaving soaps or creams that has a similar scent to "Golden Virginia" hand rolling tobacco. I used to smoke and the scent of the tobacco was just amazing. I really miss that scent.
