Seeing a lot of B&M Latha recommendations. I've honestly never had any desire to try that line of soaps at all. Looks like I may need to rethink that decision.

Dave, the line is quite good, especially, for the price. Shy

My thing has always been that I have quite a few soaps from the regular line and figured that the Latha line were soaps that are just not quite 'As Good' as B&M's Glissant base so why bother. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try one though. Any recommendations on a scent to try?

This was the first B&M offering I was able to be successful with. Extremely easy to create outstanding lather. Just load, saturate, and go! You can;t go wrong with B&M Latha, though a warning: "Sandalwood" is, in my humble opinion, a misnomer. I bought it expecting the classic woody fragrance of sandalwood, and the Latha Sandalwood is very currant heavy, giving it an extremely sweet, fruity fragrance, that is only lightly supported by the soft, woody notes of sandalwood. It's a good scent, and not at all unpleasant, just not what I expected upon purchasing a Sandalwood soap...

[edited to add]I absolutely LOVE the Lavenda scent. Deep and dark, floral and musky. A really fantastic, masculine lavender...

Thanks for the heads up. I wish I could describe scents that eloquently! I usually have no clue on how to describe scents. I think what I might just do is check out the Latha soaps the next time I go to The Groomatorium over in Ontario. That way I can be sure to get a scent that I like.

Like BadDad said, the lavanda is my favorite lavender scent ive smelled thus far, way better than their lavanille although I haven't smelled the new formula, just the old tub. Awaiting Mikes lavender scent which is still under 15$ so I like his soaps a lot. I'm not a fan of coconut but his with the vanilla is just fantastic.

Sorry, Dave. Scents are very subjective and I am not sure what you would like. Shy

Oasisdave, the Latha Original is one of my favorite scents and is definitely one of my top performing soaps as well. Too bad it's been discontinued though. I guess it was another one of those "polarizing" B&M scents. You might be able to find one still in stock somewhere.
