This is why I got rid of mine. Now go the expensive route with my 2 Plisson Palladium. Same head, but perfect alignment.

I'm confused. If it's the same head, then how does paying ATT prices for it change the QC issue?

I really love the results I get from my Fatip, but like many others, I get frustrated with the alignment issue. I haven't quite made up my mind yet whether or not it's worth keeping around.

The heads are exactly the same. The Joris is treated with different coatings once Plission gets a hold of it. Unfortunately I purchased a Joris and I had issues with alignment, so much so that I returned it for a fatip. If I'm going to get a razor with QA issues, I would rather it be with a $23 dollar razor than A $160 razor. The vendor than asked for a review of the razor and then didn't post it. No beefs with the vendor since they took the razor back no questions asked, but people would be better informed if they posted the good and the bad. If I knew about the QA issues with the Joris were similar to the fatip, I would never have chanced it. Fortunately the blade alignment was so bad (looked like a slant once the blade was locked down) it was hard to miss. My advice if you absolutely have to have a Plission is check blade alignment before you take a single stroke across your face otherwise the less customer focused vendors could leave you one the hook or keep you committed to a "replacement" razor. After I saw the issue with my razor, I absolutely DID NOT want another.

That advice and $2.00 will get you a coffee at Starbucks.

I have two Fatips and they both have solid alignment as well. Luck of the draw I suppose.
