interesting. after the shave? do you apply an aftershave after using that product?

Yes, but usually just my neck. Remember, this is a cleanser & not a balm. You have to wash it off.

I have trouble with breakouts from shaving between the corners of my mouth and chin. That’s one of the reasons I’ve worn a circle beard for most of the last 27 years. Alum seems to help me. Sometimes I just leave it on to help dry up my oily skin.

However, I’ve just started experimenting with brushing on the lather one more time after the last pass (not real thick), using a soap that contains clay (WK, Declaration, Mudder Focker) and leaving it on to dry a bit on while I clean up the shaving stuff. I guess it’s sort of like a mud pack ?

The jury is still out, but it feels nicer than alum.
