Celestino - I've got it now. Same result today with the 830 boar brush:

Nice work LegalEagle1! When you get MW down, it's truly a joy to use. I can see why Celestino stocked up with piles of this soap.

I had a great shave with Rosalimone last night, in fact possibly one of my best ever!

Peter, the stockpiling was due to my fear of Michelle deciding, one day, to stop making her soap, but I am, now, quite assured that that won't happen. Nevertheless, I still order more than I need, just in case. Big Grin

Gents, I just picked up a synthetic brush (a Plisson) and used it with Mystic Water Sensitive. After my shave and a few test lathers, I have to say that this brush, in addition to my soft water, makes a big difference when I lather this soap. If you are having issues with lathering Mystic Water, get a synthetic. I can't explain the mechanics of why it works better, but for some reason synthetics whip up a dense and stable lather significantly faster with Mystic Water.

Very happy with the Plisson purchase Smile. It makes using one of my favorite artisans even more enjoyable!

Congrats on your Plisson, NX.
Probably, due to (in part) the strength of the synthetic hairs, the surface of the soap is broken earlier and to a greater degree.

Thanks ask4Edge! Smile Makes sense. Either way, it's really efficient. I plan on trying it with my easiest lathering soap today - Martin de Candre.

I have been using Mystic Water soaps in shave stick form with great success. To change things up I removed the remaining MW Orange Vanilla from the shave stick and pressed it into an empty container. I must say it was a great success this morning. I loaded the soap like it owed me money before face lathering. By adding water slowly, I ended up with a wonderful shiny slick lather. In fact I might have had better results loading from the puck than with a shave stick. Mystic Water is one of my favorite soaps for sure.
