Ok as I posted before I have an issue with my 4.5 oz jars and I'm waiting on my new batch and it may be awhile before they arrive so I'm babysitting what I have left in stock and they are all going towards the 2 upcoming Bay Rums. An when the new jars arrive I'll fill in some of the soaps that are or will be available in the 7.5 oz size for now.  So I have a batch of F Based Shave soap that's unscented going now and it's a decent sized batch so I had an idea but I wanted your opinion on what soaps I'll make as I'm going to divide this batch into 2 scents. An here's the tricky part, all of the scents are currently in the Tallow Creme base or the very old S Base with the exception of the Fresco which will definately be part of this batch and has always been a Shave soap. So if you had to pick 1 out of the list below that you'd like to see in an F Based Shave soap that's normally a Tallow Shave Creme or in the case of the Colonia which was the old S Base which would you pick? Remember whatever scent we pick is going to be in a very limited number and only be in the 7.5 oz size on my website only. I think this will also be a good experiment as far as getting these scents into a Shave Soap Base as they are all citrus scents and you know they will all be subject to higher temperatures than they would be in a Tallow Shave Creme but I've got some ideas on how I may get around this issue and avoid a much weaker scent than is in the shave creme.

So these are the picks so let me know what would be your top choice out of these three listed below.

1. Melange Di Agrume
2. Colonia
3. Bergamotto

As always your input and suggestions are very much appreciated.

I'll put my name to that, also, Frank. Another grapefruit lover here.

No worries guys

It's better that I make a complete batch of the Colonia as that is a standard scent that should always be in Stock and I just have to wait for the 4.5 oz jars to arrive and I'll make a full batch.

Thank you for your input!

Frank

Probably not the most cost effective way, but Anticatura in Slovenia, the European vendor, has it in stock. I guess it depends upon how long it'll take Frank to have Colonia restocked as to whether it's worthwhile.

NOTICE:

Ok guys Melange and Fresco are made, in the jars and curing. An I have to say I really upped the Ruby Red Grapefruit Essential Oil in the Melange Aroma Blend. It's funny, my assistant who was a cake decorator for a large supermarket for like 15 yrs and she's a darn good baker turned to me when I was mixing the Shave Soap and she's like I want to eat it and it looks like light pink cake frosting! LOL  I only got eleven 7.5 oz jars out of the other part of the batch so what I'm going to do is on Sunday morning I'll put them up at 10zm EST and the first 11 people will get one. An only one to a customer please.  I'm also sticking with tradition with this Shave Soap and I'm going to include a 12 ml dropper bottle of the Aroma Blend for anyone that wants to kick up the scent in their Shaving bowl, , on the Tip of their Shave Brush or in their Skin Food Splash . Although this Shave Soap is stronger than the first couple I made by quite a bit compared to the first and second batch which was a while ago and although it's probably not needed when you first get it we all know that all natural citruses fade out a little over time and with 7.5 oz of Shave Soap it may take some time to use it up so a little refresher now and then is not a bad idea. So the Aroma blendi is on me.

So on Sunday morning at 10 am if you want a jar just put one in your cart and checkout...with that said the order will ship when the soap is ready to go out which would probably be by on Wednesday or next Friday at the very latest. So when picking out your shipping don't pay extra for faster shipping cause it ain't going to happen until the soap is ready so why pay the extra money.

I have 14 of the Fresco Shave Soaps in the 7.5 oz and I may do a Pre - Order on that one also but there's things that have to be changed on the website so let me talk to my website developer on that first. I'll update you all on the Fresco as soon as I get through to her.

Thanks guys for the input and if anyone is wondering there was a 12th jar I got out of the Melange De Agrume batch but that one is heading home with me as I love Grapefruit and I was out of it.   Big Grin

Great Shaves all.

Frank

So this is what you will get with the Shave Soap.
