I freakin love Bay Rum

Bay Rums going to be right there with the Sandalo Labels come in on the 28th.  So will the Bergamotto and the Ravello .

So what is that?  Five more sleeps?

I just got word all the labels are arriving on the 26th so not as many days sleep! 



Just finished making the Bay Rum Soap and Friday I'll start on the Splashes from my infusion and the Skin Food Lotion and Serum. So Bay Rum Bay Rum.LOL  

I feel like I should make some other products using Bay Rum that can be used on the body like Bath soap, Shampoo Bar or maybe an After Shower Body oil or maybe just a body spray. We can really stink up the place with Bay Rum.. LOL 

It was you and Mr. andrewjs18 that got me started on this Bay Rum thing and now I find myself craving it... this isn't normal behavior!

Resistance is futile!  There is something about bay rum. It not only gets on to your skin but under your skin as well and seriously, what is normal anyway?  I’m down with all those bay rum products you mentioned, especially the post shower body oil. Bay rum all over sounds wonderful.

It’s funny you mentioned the Post Shower Body oil as I have a really good formula and the BayRum would work really well in that Aroma blend 

An yes resistance is futile.  In fact I’ve been thinking of all these other essential oils that might blend really well taking the Bay Rum to many different places but still keeping the Bay Rum front and center.

Frank, now you're talking!  If you look towards the start of this thread I think I articulated my vision of a world where artisans appreciated bay rum and took it beyond the traditional blends into the area of bay inspired fragrances.  I acknowledge that blending and creating fragrances is already demanding and that bay and bay rum as a note in a complex blend can be challenging but I think it's worth it.  Take chances!  What have you got to lose?  I'm sure there are enough of us bay rum lovers that you won't be stuck with unsold product and who knows?  You might create something really special - as a matter of fact, I'm counting on it.

Thank you Marko for the encouraging words. You know me I don't sit on my laurels as I'm constantly thinking of new things to create.

That about sums me up . In some ways it's been a blessing but it's also sometimes my Hell as the ideas keep coming constantly and  I'm lucky to have some people around me that can reel me in now and then and keep me focused on finishing one thing before moving on to the next.  Ain't always easy. LOL 

Thank you for the Thanksgiving Day wishes. It was good as my son was home and we were with family.  The Bills pulled out a win in Detroit and I do have to say I feel about 2 lbs heavier today!

So today I made a decision that’s been on my mind for the last few days. So I’m changing gears and holding off on making & releasing the Ravello Tallow Shave Creme and supporting post shave products. I have all the labels and was going to make it on Monday but after repeated whiffs of the Aroma blend it’s definitely a summertime scent so I’m putting this project on the shelf till Spring. I have the Tallow Shave Creme base made Unscented so I have a few other options that would in my opinion be more appropriate for this time of year. 

 The 2nd reason is I’ve been looking at my website data and I can see what people are wanting from past releases and I can’t believe how many are waiting for Dragonsbeard but also I’m seeing a lot of clicks on Tonka Bean with a few others. I also have been developing a few other what I would call robust type scents. So after getting the Sandalo, Bay Rum, Bergamotto and the Blue Note for The Razor Company colab out the door Im going to focus on the ones I mentioned made again and adding the new post shave products to match them. 

I’d also like to hear from my customers here on DFS about past releases that you’d like to see made again.
