I was going to post this in my merchants section but I’m only looking for about 6 to 8 people to test my 2 versions of the non alcohol Skin Food lotion. I’m sending them out and they are marked with an A or B on them so a blind test and I’d like you to pick either one or the other.

I know a couple people contacted me before that have sensitive  type skin as that is the type of skin I’d like to test these two products on the most but a couple with normal skin would be good to.

They will both have the Greenfresh aroma since it’s pretty simple and refreshing but one is a little stronger than the other but as I told one of my testers please do not let that have any impact on the two. It’s all about performance.

I will say that this new lotion is almost milk thin but not quite.  It has the highest level of both the EOS Complex in it than any other non - custom product I’ve made so far and it has a good dose of 2 different molecular weight Hyaluronic acid powders blended in so what you would feel which is normal with both Hyaluronic acid or if you used the EOS Complex in a somewhat higher percentage which this has ( EOS Complex already has some Hyaluronic acid in it ) anyway what you’d feel is your skin feeling slightly plumped up. Some might even call it tight feeling but then within the first 10 to 20 minutes after using the hydration begins to show up while the softness begins to build. This will not feel oily on your skin at all.

So here’s a photo of how they will come to you. An you should be able to get at least 3 uses out of these samples.

Please contact me.

Thank you

Good day gentleman!

Ok I need a little input here.  So those of you that have bought my shave soaps are familiar with the brushed aluminum lids that are on my jar. So I was checking my inventory and I thought since I’ll be launching some new soaps/bases I’m going to need more than I normally keep in inventory.  Well when I went to order from one of the only two I know of that carries the lid one informed me that won’t be carrying it any longer as they don’t carry a jar that the lid fits on. ( all their jars are smaller ) so I immediately called the other supplier who normally has them and just my luck their out of stock and won’t be back in stock till July! I’m like ok there’s no way that with all the new soaps  I have planned will I have enough in my inventory to get me to July. So I did put a good sized PO in so I’ll get them in July as soon as they come in but I may need to use another cap to fill in until the large order comes in so I’m going back and forth here. So I took some photos below of my 2 options. One is they have my regular lid in stock now in the higher profile lid so I took a side by side of my current lid and the higher profile one. It definitely makes the overall jar look even bigger and in the photo it really looks significantly bigger. My other alternative is the more available aluminum lid that’s used by a lot of brands including MDC as an example. So looking at the photos if you had to pick one of the two to use  temporarily which would you go with.

My assistant had one idea. She said since the taller lid is available why don’t you use ten on your 7.5 oz jars and the regular one only on the 4oz jars from now on. I’m not sure I like that idea as to me the taller lid seems to sort of overpower the jar which is big to begin with.

So what would you go with?

I appreciate your input!

I vote taller lid. Unless placed side by side, hard to tell the difference, plus it would make your 7.5oz jars look more substantial. Packing might be a pain though.

I'm with stesa...

The lid finish, brightness, etc for the MDC type look different in your pictures. This will change aesthetics both from the side as well as the top (with your label). Basically, it'll adjust the whole look of Ethos.

That's my 2¢.

Shorter lid
The screw cap is a no-no!

I actually like the aluminum lid vs. the higher profile one.

I vote higher lid - prefer it to the shorter version now using. Of course, that based on photos and without consideration of storage space nor box size required for shipping

smaller lids...they take us less room in the cabinet/shelf.
