"Sure, why not?"
Yup, after tons and tons of emails and PMs throughout the year pondering the return of Et Tu, this just made sense. That said, sales will still dictate how we shall proceed after this month. Do we dare offer Et Tu all year round? Especially when it's such a clever theme to drop in March? Only time will tell.
But I mean, if it's all it ever was about was just being cheeky, then dropping it today, August, Friday the 13th can be considered just as witty too, no?
Fun Fact: The 13th of August is truly The Ides of August! In March, May, July, and October it was the 15th day of the month; in other months it is the 13th. (and they said that was just useless trivia!)-- Also,the month of August gets its name from a Caesar, not the same Caesar but a Caesar none the less. So this release is clearly desired by the fates! [*puts down entrails.]
What If...In an alternate universe, Caesar comes back to take vengeance on his 60 killers...slowly taking out each senator one by one as they attend some naughty Roman sleep-over camp on Crete...saving Marcus Junius Brutus till the last scene!
Et Tu, Homage To Classic BRUT!
Honestly, this scent is not only iconic, but versatile and meant to be used all year round! So really, who am I to withhold from The People? Any fans of the original Brut aftershave splash of yore will thoroughly enjoy our rather thorough take on it! Guaranteed to turn your next shave into a nostalgic blast from the past!
Truth be told, I actually think our version is truer to the original Brut created by Fabergé back in 1964 as it was originally released as a rather pricey, long lasting cologne as opposed to the diluted aftershave we all know today.
Just like our last Seasonal Release of Et Tu back in March we have decided to include an Eau De Parfum and offer the Star Jelly in two options, Mentholated & Menthol Free!
