I've managed to get 2 honed up and shaving, and a couple others cleaned and bevel tested, so I thought I would share some pics I've taken over the last couple days. so you don;t have to flip back to the first page to see the changes, I'll put this picture here again, and label the razors in it:

Top Row L to R: Frederick Reynolds 5/8 wedge, JA Henckels 4/8 hollow Dubl Duck Dwarf

In the Box L to R: Drew & Sons Picadilly Circus 5/8 wedge, Unknown 4/8 wedge engraved "Black Boy" in old English script on the scale, Zartina 5/8 extra hollow in aftermarket scales that do not fit it, Union Cutlery Spike 5/8 wedge, Union Cutlery Spike 5/8 wedge covered in rust, Utica Cutlery Red Point 5/8 extra hollow, Genco Fluid Steel 5/8 extra hollow

J.A. Henckels before and after. I shaved with this one tonight:

Union Cutlery Spike 5/8 wedge that was literally covered in active rust, but cleaned up beautifully with some elbow grease, 000 steel wool, and Flitz polish. I shaved with this one last night:

I got a few more to go, including that chunky Fred Reynolds chopper that is going to need new scales...

I'll keep you guys posted!

Yea she may turn out to be the sleeping beauty of the bunch. Cleaned up beautifully, and the bevel test was very promising.

I agree with Jeff, Chris. That Utica Cutlery Red Point is a real beauty.

How did the shaves go with the ones you tried?

The Spike was great. Clean and smooth. The Henckels was good. Edge needs a little refinement. It was very smooth, but not close enough for my liking, so back to the stones for her...

The question has been asked elsewhere, so I'll answer it here, as well, even though it has yet to be asked...

In a couple photos you will see vertical Sharpie lines on the blade. This is my visual indicator for checking the bevel. I draw the lines off the edge, run the blade for 5 or 6 light laps on a stone, and see where the marker is removed and where it is left. This tells me where the blade/bevel is making contact with the stone and where it needs extra attention. If the marker comes off evenly across the whole edge with no added pressure or torque, we have good bevel contact, and an indication that the razor will take a good edge.

The parts where the marker is left are the "low spots" in the edge that will require some additional maintenance, be it a bit of electrical tape, a small bit of torque, or a slight roll in the stroke to make even contact. The solution really depends on where and how the bevel is missing contact.

Anyhow..this question was asked on both Facebook and Instagram where these pictures were shared, so I figured I would answer it here as well...
