Esspresso Machines

Any high end Italian Esspresso machines Gents any recomendations??

For now I have Breville Barrista Express does a great job even tho it’s “tunes” the way I like it but I would like to have Rocket Esspresso Machine or something little higher that compact and friendly to use of course Quality must be there!!

I have a Rancilio Miss Sylvia and it’s ok. I’d like to upgrade it but it’s not a priority right now. And I don’t have the money either. I’ll make do with Miss Sylvia for now

Nice my mother was looking to buy used miss Sylvia but down the road when I find one for decent price now what I got my eyes on is Rocket Appartmento I love this thing it’s on my list eventually!!

Well worth it 

These are things you save up for and they should last a lifetime with proper maintenance. I had a different Italian machine (can’t remember name) that served me well for over 25 years but the manufacturer went out of business and eventually spare parts became scarce. The only way to get them was to scavenge other machines but that’s also a problem because it’s always the same parts that go. The learning for me was if you’re going to buy one if these high end machines, make sure you get a quality machine from a manufacturer with a track record and high likelihood of being in business for the foreseeable future. Also consider buy from a local brick and mortar that has a good track record and will provide service and support. It might cost a bit more but worth it in my opinion.

All joking aside, I'm sure that whatever you purchase you'll get a perfect brew.

For me assuming a huge budget it would be the Decent Espresso DE1+ and a Baratza with the weight based grind function. The former lets you tweak all the infusion steps to your hearts content. The latter is a good brand for noncommercial use and consistent results.

That said the best espressos I've ever had were in Naples where all cafes consistently used lever machines.

It’s a good Italian Esspresso not cheap but well worth it wish if it would have Grider built in would be even better but that’s ok not all things come the way wish it would but main thing is enjoy a quality coffee and taste
