That looks ice cold Kevin, made me want a beer when I saw it...bad influence Wink

Today I am enjoying another fine craft beer from Omnipollo Brewery, this one is a pecan mud pie stout and it is super rich and super decadent. I love sweet stouts like this!

It has strong chocolate and coffee aromas and taste and there is definately a nutty element to it.

A fantastic new source has indulged secret information to me that Omnipollo are due to release a blueberry cheesecake beer soon....drooling is an understatement!

Cheers Smile

Hottest day here in the UK in a long time (27C) deserves a light and refreshing beer.

Well, not a glass, but as I sit here perusing the various forums I frequent (shaving, BBQ, competitive shooting) I have a bit of Woodford Reserve bourbon that I'm sipping. Straight up, no ice, no water.

Thanks! Yes a gent on one of the forums asked if he could make them to sell. I gave him permission and commissioned 6 for myself. I don't know if he ever offered them for sale to the public, and (DANG!) I forget who made them. He did a good job on them. But as with any handcrafted objects they weren't inexpensive.

Today's brew was another from Omnipollo called Leon. Nothing special about this one just a straight up good IPA!

I am a big football fan and today is the first chance I have had to sit down and celebrate the consecutive promotions of my team, Bristol Rovers.

To celebrate I have opened a favourite of mine, Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout. A decadent but light stout which goes nicely even on the hottest days.
