A new to me Company that recently joined DFS and also joined as a Vendor. Wanted to give it a try and picked the Patchouli Peach to try. Off the tub the scent is light but it is present and may be more present when Lathered. Nice attention and detail to presentation as seen in the photos and generously included two soap samples and I believe an aftershave. Scent is nice on all 3. Looking forward to trying the full tub tomorrow. Others familiar with the maker are encouraged to share your SOTD and thoughts here as well. Thanks Shannon ElysianSoapShop

Wow, that is some snazzy packaging. Lovely attention to detail. Hope it works well for you Dave.

I'll be looking forward to your review.

I heard part of Shannon’s story on the retro wet shaving podcast with Dave in the UK.

Packaging looks great.  Atlantis sounds like a great scent to me as well!

Razor: WR3 Prototype .23 OC/WRH2 Ti Handle
Blade: Gem SS
Brush: Leonidam / Badger
Soap: Elysian Tart & Sweet
AS : Witch Hazel + Clubman Citrus Musk
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 2,025

Had a great shave with this soap 1st time using it. A firmer soap and while not normally a bowl latherer, samples dictate the need. Even so I got a rich and dense leather that felt great during and after the shave. It rinses clean and easy off the razor between passes. Mice protection and slickness. The scent on this one is right where I like it. Strong enough to enjoy without being overpowering. A almond size or smaller gave me much more lather than needed but I prefer too much as to not enough for my shaves. VERY enjoyable shave !

From the site for scent description:

TART AND SWEET FRAGRANCE: A proprietary blend of phthalate free fragrance oil and distilled essential oils. A modern tribute to Sweetheart candies that will take you back to your first crush. Tart and Sweet opens with juicy Key Lime, White Grapefruit, and Green Apple Candy, followed by hints of Blue Tansy, Jasmine, and Magnolia, with a lingering touch of Cypress and Amber.

You get exactly what's described and it paired nicely with Clubman Citrus Musk Aftershave. Nice to have Shannon join us here at DFS and looking forward to trying more scents she has to offer.

Fancy packaging is nice, but it is what is inside the package that counts.

What is the ingredient list?

How does it compare to other top artisans like Ariana and Evans, Barrister and Mann, Declaration Grooming, Ethos Grooming Essentials, Gentleman's Nod, Grooming Dept/Aion Skincare, Murphy and McNeil, Noble Otter, Wholly Kaw, and Zingari Man?

I'm not a salesman for the company and was just doing a brief SOTD review for a new to the forum Artisan. I invited others that have used it to share their thoughts and started this thread as it's typical to have a thread for individual Artisans. I too have used 100's of Soaps Ray but don't go as in depth as you tend to as I don't have the special needs you do.

2) Google is your friend  Big Grin
3) I don't have your skin requirement issues and so don't over dissect and compare. Sorry
