Since retiring from my real job (the one that pays the bills), I find I have much more time to devote to my other job (the one that pays my soul).  As a result, I have an excellent inventory of finished pieces that are ready to ship.  There are just under 100 brush handles and over 200 razor handles listed on www.eliterazor.com, as well as a broad selection of knots.

Please take a look and see if there is something that may be of interest to you.  If you like what you see, please tell a friend.

If you have any questions about my work, please drop me a note.

Below are a couple of new additions that just came out of the shop.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a brush from Elite Razor. The only thing is, I'm not sure which knot to go with, the High Mountain White or Manchurian. I do know that it will be a 26mm fan knot. I want soft tips (obviously) no scritch and middle of the road backbone. My experience with badger is limited, but for example, I have used a Nathan Clark Envy White and that was a little too much backbone for me. I don't want floppy either though. Can anyone who's used both provide any insight for me? Thanks in advance! FWIW, I'm leaning towards the HMW.

I’ve heard their 2 band fan is one of the best knots out there. That would be my choice, and I have a lot of high end badger brushes from the usual suspects.

I own 2 of the high mountain white knots and about 6-7 of the 2 band Manchurian knots. Both are outstanding and I choose them over any other Manchurian knots in the market. I own a couple Elite brushes and I use Bob’s knot’s in all of my Markus Herber Rubberset 400 replicas which I have 5 of. The Manchurian knots are all 26mm and they have a bit more backbone than the High Mountain knots but honestly, you cannot go wrong with either! I live hear in Atlanta and have taken a couple brushes straight to Bob to mount his knots in. I can’t speak high enough about his knots and I own a ton of high end brushes.

My modest rotation of shave brushes is now comprised almost entirely of Bob’s knots/handles. Best quality I’ve come across, hands down.
