I'm very pleased with the performance of this Tuxedo knot from @"AndrewPalombo" & the Lotus shape from Bob Quinn is not only lovely but it feels great in hand.

I've been waiting to see this brush. That came out really nice! Great score and I'm glad to hear you like the Tuxedo knot. It's my favorite by a wide margin right now.

Thanks all.

Jeff (wyze0ne), I'm going to have to get one made with a Cashmere knot eventually. Andrew made that one sound quite tempting. Just need to pay off my upcoming vacation first.

I have the Cashmere too and honestly I like the Tuxedo better. The Cashmere is no slouch either though. It's worth trying if you like synthetics, which obviously you do, lol.

Can you gentlemen describe the tuxedo knot? Anyone know if it's the same knot that Nathan Clark is using?

It's super duper soft with about medium backbone, not floppy or springy like some other synthetics. It splays easily and has excellent flow through (unlike my badgers, which seem to be lather hogs). If you like synthetics, I have no doubt you'll love this knot. If you're a die hard badger fan, probably not so much. It doesn't feel like a natural hair brush at all, it's much softer. If you like the feeling of scrub, you won't find it here.

I think the knot that Nathan Clark uses is the "Black Wolf". Same as what Wolf Whiskers is using. Maybe envyshave can clarify. I would venture to guess that they are the same type of fibers as the Tuxedo (they look exactly the same), only the Black Wolf knot has more of a fan shape. Hope this helps!
