My first post here, was referred by my favorite YouTube Reviewer, whom has earned my trust for pretty spot in reviews over the last year or so.

So Hello, nice to be here.

Anyway I have 3 WolfWhiskers Brushes with Black Wolf Synthetic knots. One was an LE I won the opportunity to buy in the raffle Mr. Wolf does for his special brushes every couple of months. It's wicked Cool.

I also have a Rudy Vey brush with a ShaveMac 26mm D01 Silvertip Knot, and a Elite Brush , the first brush I ever bought, which I sent to Bernd at Shavemac and had reKnotted with a 26mm FlatTop Shavemac Silvertip. I love flat top brushes. If you get the chance , you should try one.

Anyway was talking to Scott from L&L Grooming after recently discovering his Bison Tallow Soap was one of the best I've used. Awesome stuff. Talking with Scott I discovered he was also the Declaration Brushworks guy, who Hand Tied his own Knots. I was so impressed with him and the quality and time he put into his soap and balm, I immediately wanted a brush. Also, him hand tying his own Knots , and hearing he was super particular about the quality of hair he used , sealed the deal. Unfortunately he doesn't produce handles very often, but told me he offers a re knotting service and puts knots in other artisans handles. So I contacted Robert at Elite with an idea for a handle I had, and the rest is history. Cool side note, Elite Razor and L&L/ Declaration live like 15 miles apart and know each other. This process was extremely easy . Anyway here is my brush that's on the way. The idea I got off the web, and Robert Nailed it. Declaration put a 24mm Fan Top in it. I really can't wait for it to arrive. [Image: 663278df5543f467eb989fbd64bb0c4c.jpg]

That's sweet! I have a declaration 24 mm from the first batch and its a great brush. Super dense with zero glue bump makes for a very bespoke feel.

Nice brush and welcome to DFS! I would love to get my hands on a Wolf Whiskers Black Wolf brush one of these days. Would you mind posting pictures of those?

Welcome and great first post! Beautiful brush. L&L is a great soap and the brushes are even better. I have my first Somerset Simpson with lamp black intact from 25 years ago which Scott is going to reknot. Finest hair in the business!
