Haha! The box certainly looks shady. It will be interesting to see how this one shaves.

It almost looks like a prop for a TV show. Let us know how the shave is. (I also just realized that there is a tiny bit of the same design language as in the Darwin razor.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Very cool.
I have one without the box and stuff.

It's very similar on top to a DE Star brand razor.

The handle is unique.

Not from Ebay, but from ETSY. Can't wait to try it out. Less than $20 w/shipping.

Excellent shave, reminds me of a Blackbird. Lots of blade feel but not over the top aggressive. Overall, better that I expected.

I never knew such a razor existed - its like those battery operated vibrating cartridge razors on the market now. Nothing is new is it?

So true!  The Stahly winds up and has a torsion spring that engages a crank shaft.  They are such odd ducks I can't help but collect them.  I think I have 10 at this point in each color combo, etc. all made in the USA.

I have had one for several years now, Marko, but keep it more as a fun collectible.  The vibration mechanism is wound up, like a wind up toy, so the vibration can (and usually does) stop in mid shave.  The handle is way too thick and cumbersome because it holds the winding mechanism.  Also, I found the shave just fair.  For all of that, I am just as fascinated with them as Asafiev.
