Gents,
This is an early Wade & Butcher faux frameback from the 1820s. It has a stub tail, and is simply stamped “Wade”
I am a big fan of my Wade & Butcher razors, and I liked the SCARGILL so much (same timeframe) that it was a no brainer when I saw this pop on eBay.
I am going to get this one fully restored, including scale replacement. I think it will turn out to be a real gem!
