Bought few days ago this soap out of curiosity mostly .
It is hand-made in France by a small family business.

Manufacturer description
"A natural goat milk shaving soap composed of tallow, shea butter, cocoa butter and lanolin rich in moisturizing active ingredients that promote skin elasticity, combined with Vitamin E and avocado oil with nutritional properties.

Goat's milk helps skin fight the effects of aging.

The shaving foam, rich, creamy and lingering, obtained with this shaving soap will provide you with exceptional gliding, protection and softness, in order to reduce razor burn.

The strong point of this tallow shaving soap is its hydration and post shave effect, perfect for normal skin and dry. It is a very nourishing soap for the skin. "

Physical properties :

Brown-copper color ,soft creamy texture ( croap ) , 145 gr / 5 oz ,
extra wide polymer jar ,sticker labels .

Ingredients
Potassium Stearate, Caprae Lac*, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Shea Butterate, Potassium Tallowate, Sodium Safflowerate, Potassium Castorate, Parfum, Persea Gratissima Oil*, Sodium Tallowate, Cocos Nucifera Fruit Extract*, Sodium Shea Butterate, Sodium Cocoa Butterate, Sodium Castorate, Potassium Cocoate*, Silk Powder, Stearic Acid, Potassium Lanolate, Sodium Cocoate*, Allantoin, Sodium Lanolate, Tocopherol, Adeps Bovis, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Lanolin, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Jasmonal h, Limonene, Linalool.

* natural ingredients from organic farming (27.78%).

Lather building : Face lathered with it .Pretty easy to lather .
Somewhat "thirsty" soap .

Lather consistency : Thick and silky lather.

Stubble hydration/softening :
Excellent! Blade needed almost no effort to cut the hair.Keep in mind that this was a pretty used up blade at it's last shave-9th or 10th not sure-before discarding .

Protection : Pretty good to very good ,but nothing extraordinary to write home about it.Used with a
Perma Sharp blade at it's 9th or 10th use .The kind of protection most tallow-based soaps are offering .

Slickness : Also pretty good to
rather very good .Maybe a bit more than the one of Stirling soaps .

Residual slickness : Excellent !
Leaves a  slippery "film" on the skin,
after the blade pass.

Post-shave : Nourishing .Skin felt
really refreshed and rejuvenated.
Not greasy ,not dry .Just perfect.
Post-shave care was not needed really.Nevertheless ,applied some alcohol based asl.

Scent profile :

Top Notes : Bergamot, Grapefruit, Aromatic Green, Orange Tree.

Heart Notes : Jasmine, Rose, Violet, Cedar.

Base Notes : Patchouly, Musk, Amber, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Leather, Tree Moss.

Scent was created by a dedicated
artisan perfumer from father to son, from Grasse, the world capital of perfume.

Scent power : Maybe one of the strongest scented shaving soaps.
Wife was watering the garden and she smelled the soap ( the lather actually) through a small open window of the bathroom
15 meters ( 45 ' ) away !
" Wow !That smell is wonderful ! "
 I heard her say ...

Perfume irritations/allergic reactions : None ,whatsoever.
Not the slightest burning ,itching or tingling .I was expecting otherwise with such an amount of perfume/ essential oils. But no.

Overall : For it's price vs quantity vs quality ,I think it's another VFM diamond .A very good soap.
It stays in the den .
It's first use left me more than satisfied.Lacks the top-notch protection of far more expensive artisan tallow shaving soaps ,but
beats most of the other tallow-based of the same price category .
Far better than Stirling ,better than most A&E soaps I own .
Recommended with no second thoughts.

Just discovered a funny trivia, while reading the home page of the website.

E&S is derived from the first letters of the names of the couple producing those shaving soaps .

Estelle & Stéphan .

Well...
My name is Stephanos ( in Greek ) ,
which is Stéphan in French .
And my wife's name is Stella in Greek ,which actually is Estelle in French .
Lol !

It is pretty soft ,as most typical "croaps".But I expect to "harden" with time ,as most typical croaps do.
Yes,I do live in Greece.

Faena shaving soaps ( from Lesvos Island ) .They make also some
interesting wooden handle shaving brushes and lathering bowls.

https://www.faena.gr/sapounia-xyrismatos/vl-24/en/

Grooming Cult shaving soaps
( from Thessaloniki ) .Highly praised
hand-made soaps .

Lavish Care after shaves.
Alcohol based lotions.Great products.

There are few other artisan shaving soap makers, like " Savon Mystere" and "BBS shaving soaps ",but their products either are distributed through web
( facebook,greek shaving forums ),
or they are available in small batches .Not so easy to get.
It's rather a pity ,because they are amazing shaving soaps.

Edit : Oh! Wait ! Here :

You will also find a vast selection
of olive oil based body & face soaps.
Mixed with herbal extracts, royal jelly, different kinds of "earth" (mud),etc.I strongly recommend to try some. Most probably you will be
more than satisfied.

I have wanted to try one of their soaps. I love a strong scent with good soap quality.  Has anyone tried other scents?

For those of you looking for a US source, try The Razo Company.  I have a couple of E&S soaps including this one which I really like:
