Either one will serve you well. I recommend the Duke 3. A classic that is found in many a wet shaver's den.

I don't have personal experience with the SR brushes. But the Duke 3 is a wonderful brush, and viewed as a workhorse type for a reason.

I'm probably one of the few people across the board that would not recommend the Duke. Bought one, shed right out of the box and all 7-10 shaves after that. Gave it to my less picky brother. Waited 2 years, got another thinking it was an isolated incident and it did the same thing...I have never had a brush shed like that before or after the Duke. I sold it (pretty well gave it away) as a Sheder on one of the boards.

All that to say, Saville Row IMHO would be your best bet.

Love mah 58 too. Simpsons has made some in Manchurian, FYI.
Also, if the Savile Row hair is the same as Shavemac's three-band silvertip it is no contest. Shavemac's silvertip is too floppy for my liking.

PS I LOVE Shavemac 2-band silvertip, D0-1 2-band, D0-1 three band, and even their finest. But I was disappointed in the regular silvertip.
Cheers,
